It’s a mantra I’ve heard after I started blogging circa 2005.
“If it doesn’t scare you, it’s not big enough”.
I have some pretty amazing dreams even now, but only recently have my husband and I dreamed a bit bigger–in a way that is more out of our scope of ability. At least presently.
But God.
God is bigger and big dreams mean bigger opportunities to trust God to move.
I remember when He first planted the dream in our hearts to adopt from Africa. I mean, that was HUGE. And there was SO much that had to fall into place at the perfect time for it to even happen.
Looking back, He already knew the timing of everything that was going to unfold and He was preparing our hearts.
God’s purpose for us on earth isn’t all about laboring, toiling, and living miserably because of the Fall. Jesus redeemed all that and wants us to live a life of abundance!
Kingdom-abundance isn’t necessarily about money. But while here on this earth, money is still a necessary tool to bring dreams to life. God owns it all and nothing is too big for Him.
Don’t be afraid to dream big–because impossible is where God lives.
