Winter 2025 Bible Study
Dates: TBD
Study: Open Your Bible by She Reads Truth
Join a community of moms who are hungry for more of God’s Word as we dive into a study on idolatry and learn how we can shift our desires from the things of this world and give them to God. Because He created us to worship Him alone, nothing else will satisfy our soul, fill us, and care for us the way He does.
An idol is simply anything we exalt over God — we do this by trusting in it, finding comfort in it, believing it is the answer to all of our problems. They mislead us to think that we can make better god for ourselves. They can be in the form of a person or a position or a purpose. Join us!
What is Moms in the Word?
Moms in the Word is a community where reading God’s Word is fervent, fruitful, and first priority.
If you are struggling to read the Bible because you are confused or overwhelmed, don’t have time because you have small children or busy teenagers— or maybe you’re not part of a community of women you can discuss with, Moms in the Word was created for you.
Moms in the Word is a community for moms from all walks of life who are hungry for God’s word but get overwhelmed with trying to know what to study or how. However, all women are welcome! 🙂
We do 3-4 Bible studies each year and beginning this year, we also read through the Bible in a Year.
We are a group of women coming together to make reading God’s word a priority in our lives. I believe in the importance of staying in the Word daily and studying it in depth regularly.
Sometimes, moms can find it extra challenging to find (or make) that time.
Allow this community to serve as friendships, connections, sisterhood, and accountability. Together, we can sharpen each other and grow deeper in our relationship with God. We are women hungry for God’s word!!!! Simple as that.
We have a Facebook group where we share accountability, prayer requests, questions, and challenges. I invite you to join us there!
You can find Moms in the Word through our Facebook Group and by signing up for email updates.
